A new path spreads out before us - the path that we walk easily and with a joyful, awake heart. For now we are ready to take full responsibility for our lives.

See how in spring the elder with its white flower umbels stands like a sky full of stars in wise places and stretches its arms radiantly into the universe.

It is as bright and carefree as a young girl who still has little idea of all that lies within her.

But the power of the elder reaches deep down. Everything it receives on the outside, it brings into its roots. It is in constant exchange with the earth and the environment. It knows exactly where the boundaries are and transforms the old with the knowledge and wisdom of a mature woman. When autumn comes, it brings forth the fertile essence in its deep purple fruits.

Then the elder withdraws its sap and appears as if dead, old things simply break off.

But in spring it awakens splendidly to new life with juicy green under its bark.

The perpetual cycle of being.

The oil of the mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris) has been added to the elder and thus another threshold plant. It helps to continue on the new path with courage and determination.
