Herbal candle ancestors

Our ancestors are our tribe. They prepared the way for our arrival and our life. If the connection to them is unclouded, we feel safe, nourished and encouraged to be ourselves and to live out our talents and abilities. They are a warm blanket that surrounds us and gives us the confidence to live the adventure of life. As children, we are guided by what they think, how they feel and act. They are almost like a divine authority for us. We listen to their sound and at some point think that it is our own. We internalize what they reflect back to us about ourselves.

They often looked at the patterns and characteristics they had adopted from us and did not recognize how and who we really are. Just like what happened to them as children. Therefore, they may not always have been able to give us what we so desperately needed. Then later an emptiness arises, an unwanted distance from them or arguments. Without us noticing, “their” legacy lives on. Your story is always part of our story, whether we like it or not.

The juniper helps us to explore the heritage of our ancestors and thus examine inherited patterns of thought and behavior. As an evergreen tree of life and "guardian", under its protective needle coat it illuminates the view of everything that we have been taught and that we have absorbed unfiltered. Just as beneath the many notches and irregularities of its trunk lies a beautiful grain and a solid core, we too recognize how and who we really are.

Like an eagle, we take to the skies and see our own country, perhaps for the first time. Our ancestors also have their permanent place there. They too are waiting to be free and to release us from the old soul contracts so that we are ready for the true gifts of our origins: all the knowledge, talents and beautiful memories that they have also given us.

Our mission is to draw from this. This brings warmth and peace and we can consciously connect with our roots and traditions again. Then our ancestors will be like a strong force behind us, giving us support in life and the courage to now lead the ancestral line with our light.
